Join us for a fantastic tour under the current Vienna and you will see and hear impressive stories about how the Viennese escaped the atrocities of war in the last century.

Lukas Arnold is a young passionate photographer and history enthusiast who has created a range of excursions under Vienna's mysterious places, squares and cellars that contain a rich heritage of the city’s history.
Many of these places had not been visited for decades and were shrouded in a thick layer of dust but Lukas’s team restored several of these forgotten spaces and made them an impressive museum that is now accessible to the public.
Lukas's tours are based on the personal experiences and stories of witnesses who have first-hand experience from the events. Now Lukas invites you to visit the bunkers and immerse yourself in history. His tour guidance is based on interviews with contemporary witnesses.
Unterwien offers three different excursions under Vienna where. Tour M covers an air raid bunker from WWII, tour U covers some 2000 years of history about 15 metres down and tour L presents an authentic air raid bunker from 1945. Check the availability and register on the website for any of these 1.5 hour events.
As the tours take you underground to historical premises through narrow stairs dating back more than eighty years, there is no access for the disabled. There is also no loo nor museum shop.
Photography is prohibited during the tours and on this museum review we refer to Lukas Arnold’s photography.
